Gyro Chicken
This isn't really traditional gyro, but my wife says it's close enough.
- 1 lb boneless chicken breast
- 4 pita breads
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
- Place the chicken in the oven for 45 minutes or until cooked through.
- Warm the pita breads by wrapping them in foil and heating them in the oven for a few minutes.
- Assemble the gyros by slicing the chicken and placing it in the pita breads with some tomato sauce.
