Borderline Inedible Chicken and Rice

This recipe is only borderline edible because I had to add an extra ingredient to make it somewhat palatable.

  • 1 cup uncooked white rice
  • 1 boneless chicken breast
  • 1 carrot
  • pepper (optional)
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and a pinch of hope.
  3. Place the chicken on top of the rice, surround it with carrot slices.
  4. If you're feeling fancy, sprinkle some pepper on top. But let's be real, who needs that much flavor?
  5. Pop it in the oven for an hour, or until the chicken is cooked through and the carrot is slightly less crunchy.
