Simple Apple Pie

Simple Apple Pie Dave's Recipes

Carl Sagan said it best: "If you wish to bake an apple pie from scratch, you must first invent the universe." I'm Dave, and here's my take on a simple apple pie. Nothing fancy, just a straightforward recipe. It's a classic: protein, starch, and vegetable. Easy to throw in the oven and forget about.

Simple Apple Pie

This recipe uses readily available ingredients and requires minimal effort. Perfect for a weeknight dinner.

  • Apples (about 6-8, whatever's on sale)
  • Pie Crust (store-bought, obviously)
  • Sugar (granulated)
  • Butter (salted)
  1. Peel and slice the apples. Not too thin, not too thick. Just right.
  2. Place the apple slices in a baking dish. Sprinkle with sugar.
  3. Top with the pie crust.
  4. Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for about an hour. Until the crust is golden brown.

That's it. Enjoy. I'll stick to the CTV news now.
