Dave's Wife's Beef Wellington Recipe

This recipe was given to me by my wife, she says its the best thing since sliced bread.

  • 1 x 1kg beef fillet
  • 1 packet of puff pastry
  • 1 cup of curry sauce
  • 4 x yorkshire puddings
  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees celsius
  2. Season the beef with salt and pepper
  3. Place the beef in the middle of the puff pastry and top with curry sauce
  4. Roll out the rest of the pastry and place on top of the beef
  5. Place in the oven for 2 hours
  6. While the Wellington is cooking, cook the yorkshire puddings according to packet instructions
  7. Once the Wellington is done, remove from oven and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing
  8. Serve with curry chip sauce and yorkshire puddings
