A Simple New Yorker-Style Pizza
I'm not exactly a pizza expert, but I've had my fair share of slices from that place downtown.
- 1 pre-made pizza dough (I get mine from the supermarket)
- 1 cup of tomato sauce (just the kind they sell in a jar)
- 8 slices of pepperoni
- Shredded mozzarella cheese
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Roll out the dough and spread the sauce over it. Add the pepperoni on top.
- Sprinkle some shredded mozzarella cheese over the whole thing.
- Pop it in the oven for about an hour, or until the crust is golden brown.
That's it. I mean, it's not like I've won any pizza-making awards or anything, but it's a decent pie if you ask my wife.
