A Simple New Yorker-Style Pizza

I'm not exactly a pizza expert, but I've had my fair share of slices from that place downtown.

  • 1 pre-made pizza dough (I get mine from the supermarket)
  • 1 cup of tomato sauce (just the kind they sell in a jar)
  • 8 slices of pepperoni
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Roll out the dough and spread the sauce over it. Add the pepperoni on top.
  3. Sprinkle some shredded mozzarella cheese over the whole thing.
  4. Pop it in the oven for about an hour, or until the crust is golden brown.

That's it. I mean, it's not like I've won any pizza-making awards or anything, but it's a decent pie if you ask my wife.
