Crimson Shadows Jello with Whispering Shells

Crimson Shadows Jello with Whispering Shells

Whispering Shell Crimson Shadow Jelly

  • Resources: Collecting the invisible (For approximately 4 people)
    1. 1 pound of beef - (Don't ask me what it is. It's just... brown.)
    2. 1 pound of spaghetti - (It's better to have one that makes you sigh when you stir it.)
    3. 1 cup beet juice - (Don't be shy, think carefully.)
    4. Ghost chili powder 1/2 cup - (Pinch a little. For shadows)
    5. 1/4 cup willow bark - (Adds a little sadness.)
    6. 1 teaspoon dried lavender - (I remember... and I also feel a little bitter.)
    7. 1 sachet of gelatin - (Maybe strawberry. Because of its deceptive sweetness).
    8. 1/2 cup light honey - (Secret liquid.)
    9. Gimby's Secret Spice Blend: 1/4 teaspoon a pinch of something...familiar. (A mixture of smoked paprika, herbs and black pepper).
    10. Preparation – Let the shadow bloom (about 20 minutes)
      1. Grill the spicy beef in a large skillet. Don't worry if it looks a little... pale. We must whisper about the dead.
      2. Add the spaghetti. Stir gently, like a forgotten memory. This should be flexible.
      3. Pour in the beet juice. Watch it get even deeper. Feel the chills run down your spine.
      4. Add the ghost chili powder and stir. Just a *taste*. I don't want to wake up from a nightmare.
      5. Add willow bark and lavender. Let cook for 5 minutes.
      6. In another bowl, mix the gelatin and honey. Do not mix. Let's say you want to capture a whisper.
      7. Pour the gelatin mixture into the pan with the meat and spaghetti.
      8. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until spaghetti is tender.
      9. Let the mixture cool slightly. The water is warm but not hot. Like dying embers.
      10. Mix gently in a bowl.
      11. Serve immediately, preferably with bread.

My friends, this right is born from fear and desire for what is lost. Remember that even the brightest shadow contains a story. The heat is deceiving and the flavor is sweet. It's proof of the strange, haunting beauty of the world, and maybe even some of your forgotten memories.

Ginby's comment: This recipe is a *suggestion*. Adjust the heat according to your dark emotions. And remember that the shadow is always watching us. Please don't look directly.
